Digital Connectivity Will Become the New Lifeline of Developed Chhattisgarh – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, March 03, 2026/Chhattisgarh has achieved a significant milestone in the field of digital infrastructure. The Government of India’s Ministry of Communications has approved ₹3,942 crore for Chhattisgarh under the Amended BharatNet Program (ABP).

Under this ambitious project, 11,682 gram panchayats of Chhattisgarh will be connected through ring topology. This ring topology-based network structure will be capable of providing more reliable, secure, and seamless digital services.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that this project is a historic step towards rural digital empowerment. It will expand e-governance services, strengthen online education, make healthcare services accessible to remote areas through telemedicine, and create new opportunities for rural youth and entrepreneurs.

The Chief Minister said that digital connectivity is not just internet facility, but it is the new lifeline of developed Chhattisgarh. It will increase governance transparency, speed up service availability, and connect villages to the digital economy.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Communications Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia for this important approval. He said that with the cooperation of the central government, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving forward as a digitally empowered, secure, and self-reliant state.
