Big police action against cattle smuggling: Inter-state gang arrested with 130 cows, accused used to sell cattle in Maharashtra and MP

Amit Pandey, Khairagarh. Khairagarh Police has exposed a big gang involved in inter-state animal smuggling. These gangs used to catch the stray cattle roaming in the forest area of ​​Khairagarh district, take them to Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh on foot through the forest route and sell them. The entire matter was revealed today by SP Trilok Bansal in a press conference.

SP said that the police had received information that some people were going towards Madhya Pradesh with hundreds of cows through the forest route in the forests of village Mahuvadhar. On this, the police laid siege and arrested three accused along with a total of 130 pieces of cow progeny.

SP said, police is investigating the matter. The police came to know about the leader of inter-state cow smuggling, Sabar Ali Khan, a resident of Balaghat district. Sabar Ali was absconding since the case, who has been arrested by the police today. Let us tell you that till now the police have arrested seven other accused including the leader of the inter-state gang in this case. The police is preparing to register a case under various sections and confiscate the property of the accused.
