Sudeep Upadhyay, Balrampur. Two big leaders of Chhattisgarh Congress clashed in front of State Congress President Deepak Baij. There was so much dispute between the two that Baij left the meal and left for Raipur. Actually, this incident happened today at Balrampur Circuit House when Deepak Baij was on a tour of the district. Had gone to meet the family of the deceased in the case of death of health worker Gurucharan Mandal, which took place in Baij police station. Many Congressmen from the district were also with him. Dr. Ajay Tirkey was also the convener of the investigation team formed by Congress, while the expelled leader from the party was also former MLA Brihaspat Singh.
When Baij and other leaders returned to the Circuit House for lunch after meeting the deceased family, Dr. Ajay Tirkey and Brihaspat Singh clashed with each other. Within no time the altercation escalated into a heated argument and abuse. Efforts were made by local leaders to calm the matter, but the dispute kept increasing. At last, PCC President Baij left the meal and left for Raipur. The leaders kept trying to pacify the angry Baij, but he did not stop.
According to party sources, Dr. Ajay Tirkey got angry saying that how did the leaders expelled from the party come here? No one had even called him. Due to this, Brihaspat Singh got angry. He also replied to Tirkey in a harsh tone. And then the argument between the two started to such an extent that the door of the room had to be closed.
In this matter, Dr. Ajay Tirkey and Brihaspat Singh have refused to give any kind of reaction, while Balrampur District President said that there has been a dispute, but he will not say anything on it right now.
