Raipur. Retired IAS officer Rita Shandilya has been appointed member of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. The General Administration Department has issued the notification of his appointment. Rita Shandilya will also hold the responsibility of acting president until the full-time president is appointed. Under the provisions of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulation 3(2), he has been authorized to perform the administrative duties of the Chairman. Till now Dr. Praveen Verma was holding the charge as acting president. Dr. Verma was appointed as a member in the Congress government.
