Raipur. The Excise Department has taken a major action in the capital Raipur. The joint team of the department raided various hotel bars in the district. During this period, non-duty paid liquor was seized on a large scale, after which the Excise Department took strict action and suspended the licenses of many hotel bars. This action has been taken with the aim of cracking down on illegal liquor trade and ensuring compliance with the rules.
In fact, on the instructions of Excise Commissioner Shyam Lal Dhawade and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, continuous action is being taken by the excise staff of the district. It is noteworthy that on January 05, the joint excise team of the district arrested FL 3 Shamrock Gloval Pvt. Ltd. A surprise check of the hotel bar was conducted and 12.300 bulk liters of non-duty paid liquor of Haryana province was seized and a departmental case was registered. Similarly, on January 12, F.L. A departmental case was registered by the divisional flying squad of 3 Milo Food and Company VIP Road Raipur and the joint excise team of District Raipur after conducting a surprise check and seizing a total of 3.300 bulk liters of non-duty paid liquor.
Due to the above irregularity being of serious nature, the Collector (Excise) registered both the F.L.s under Chhattisgarh Excise Act. 3 Hotel wise licenses have been suspended for 7 days. Whose order has been issued today on 24th January. According to this, from 25 to 31 January 2025, FL 3 Semrock Global Pvt. Ltd. Action is being taken to seal Hotel War and FL 3 Milo Food and Company VIP Road.
Due to being parceled from earlier times, FL 3 Grand Neelam VIP Road Raipur, FL. The hotel bar license of 3 Metro Bar, FL 3 Yogi Bar and FL 3 Shalu Bar has been suspended and sealed for 2 days from 24 January 2025 to 25 January 2025.
