Sudeep Upadhyay, Balrampur. Police station in-charge Pramod Rusia and constable Ajay Yadav have been suspended in connection with the death of a health worker in the Kotwali police station of Balrampur. At the same time, Congress has formed an 8-member inquiry committee.

Let us tell you that last night, the hanging body of an NHM employee was found in the bathroom of Kotwali police station in Balrampur, after which there was a stir. As soon as the information was received, the health department employees and the family members of the deceased reached the police station at night and created a ruckus. A crowd of hundreds of people pelted stones at the police station and also vandalized vehicles parked in the premises.

The father of the deceased accused the police of assault

In this case, Shanti Mandal, father of deceased Guru Charan, has accused the police of assault. He told that after the disappearance of the daughter-in-law, we went to the police station on the call of the police, where we were beaten up. He has also killed his son and has also threatened to kill his 17 year old grandson. While talking to the media, he also showed the injury caused by the assault.

ASP appeals to people to cooperate with police and maintain peace

In this case, Additional SP Shailendra Pandey said that on September 29, the deceased and his father had come to the police station to lodge a missing person’s report. The police was continuously investigating him, meanwhile today Gurucharan committed suicide by hanging himself in the police station. He told that the police did not assault anyone. He said that the strictest action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this case. Additional SP has also appealed to the people to maintain peace and cooperate with the police administration.
