Lakshika Sahu, Raipur. Politics has heated up in the state over the Balodabazar violence case. Both the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress are trying to corner each other over this incident. The state government has ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident. Meanwhile, the Congress has demanded a CBI inquiry into the local administration’s investigation into the incident. Former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat has now retaliated to the Congress’ demand.

A jibe was taken on the visit of Congress leaders to Baloda Bazar

On the visit of senior Congress leaders to Balodabazar, former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat took a jibe and said that it is a good thing, they should go and see. If they also have facts, they should give positive suggestions, but they should not play a role like Jheeram Valley.

Moonat on the demand for CBI investigation:

Rajesh Munat, while accusing the Congress in the Jheeram Ghati case, said that they had the proof in their pockets, but they could not retrieve it for 5 years. He said that the Congress had banned the CBI. They used to get the investigation done by Chhattisgarh’s SIT. Now when the BJP government is getting the investigation done by the local administration, they are saying that get the investigation done by the CBI. This is the same thing that “If you do it, then it is Raasleela!”

MLA Moonat on the suspension of Baloda Bazar Collector and SP

On the suspension of the Collector and SP of Balodabazar, MLA Moonat said that Chhattisgarh is an island of peace. It is the duty of the government to take the harshest action against anyone who takes the law into their hands. He said that whether the person is political, social or any other person, he should not take the law into his own hands.

Departments are being reviewed for good planning: Moonat

On the review of all the departments by the Chief Minister, former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat said that with a good planning scheme, we are thinking about what can be done in the future.

On the resignation of Minister and MP Brijmohan Agrawal:

After Brijmohan Agrawal became an MP, Rajesh Munat said on the possibility of becoming a minister that I am not standing anywhere, I am a BJP worker. It is my party, it is my government.
