Division of Water Assets, Chhattisgarh has given administrative approval of Rs. 2 crore 84 lakh 28 thousand to Leader Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar, Raipur for restore of Biretra diversion and lining of canals underneath Balod district of the state. With the restore of this diversion and canal lining, it’ll be capable to meet the shortfall of 333.63 hectares in its designed irrigation capability, in addition to water provide for irrigation in a complete house of 353.63 hectares.
