Ministry of Water Assets, Chhattisgarh has given administrative approval of Rs. 1 crore 32 lakh 44 thousand to Leader Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar Raipur for Palaud forestall dam head and canal lining underneath Arang building block of Raipur district. The highest of this forestall dam and the canal lining will meet the shortfall of 45 hectares in its designed irrigation capability, in addition to provide water for irrigation in a complete space of 80 hectares.
