We are going to fulfill another guarantee of Modi’s guarantee. During the assembly elections, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had promised the people of Chhattisgarh to start the facility of cash payment in Gram Panchayats, which is now going to be fulfilled.

Be it the purchase of paddy at Rs 3100 for farmers or the paddy bonus of the last two years, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, the Ramlala Darshan for the elderly, the re-commencement of the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, or the promise to give Rs 10,000 annually to 5 lakh 62 thousand agricultural laborers. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that with these facilitation centers starting in Gram Panchayats, farmers will be able to receive payments for paddy, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, pension and other schemes, as well as avail benefits of birth and death certificates and other facilities.
Every Needy and Eligible Person Should Be Included in the Housing Survey List, and Get the Benefit of the Scheme
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream is that everyone should have a pucca house. In the tenure of the previous government, 18 lakh beneficiaries were deprived of housing. On the second day of taking the oath, we approved 18 lakh houses in the cabinet meeting. So far, we have received 14 lakh houses from the center. Two days ago, Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed that they are going to approve three and a half lakh houses for Chhattisgarh. So that everyone gets a house, we have increased the scope of eligibility in the “Awas Plus Plus” survey, so that the dream of everyone’s house can be fulfilled.
He appealed to all the public representatives associated with the program that the survey of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Plus Plus is being conducted from April 15 to April 30. The names of all the needy and eligible beneficiaries should be included in the list of this survey, so that they can get the benefit of the scheme.
Appeal for Water Harvesting in Every Village
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed serious concern over the falling ground water level in the state. He appealed to adopt water harvesting to promote water conservation in every village.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that Atal Panchayat Digital Facilitation Center will prove to be a milestone in promoting financial facility in Panchayats. With these, facilities like railway ticket booking or withdrawal of scholarship, pension amount will definitely be available in the Gram Panchayats itself at one place.
