Balod. On Shardiya Navratri, many forms of Mata Rani were worshiped in Durga pandals. On the last day of Navratri, on Friday, the worker of village Dhotimtola Anganwadi center of Daundi block made a girl take the form of Mata Jagdamba and sent the message to the people regarding issues like cleanliness, eliminating malnutrition, saving the girl child etc.
Anganwadi worker Sunita Mandavi said that to reduce the level of malnutrition in our country, the message of malnutrition is sent to the villagers through various programs by the government. In the same context, on Friday, on the holy festival of Navratri, the message of malnutrition was spread to the beneficiaries and villagers through small children in the form of Mata Jagadamba and an effort was made to make people aware.
He said, pay attention to the eating habits and health of children. Keep public places including homes clean and become our ally in reducing the rate of malnutrition. Villagers including Kumari Vadini Jamde, Mitanin Domeshwari Sahu, Kunjbai, Lata Sen, Pratibha Jamde, Neha Jamde, Rambati, Bhagbati Netam, Bhuneshwari, Linnaeus Bhuarya, Uncleheen Bai, Hetkunwar Sahu, Sukhiya Bai etc. were present in this awareness campaign.
