Agriculture Minister Netam wrote a letter to Home Minister Vijay Sharma, demanding the formation of an SIT to investigate the Balrampur incident

Raipur. Senior minister Ramvichar Netam has written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma for the formation of SIT for high-level investigation of the mysterious death of Sujit Swarnkar and Kiran Kashi in Balrampur. Minister Netam has said in the letter that Sujit Swarnkar and Kiran Kashi died mysteriously on the night of 26-27 May. Its investigation is being done continuously by the local police, some suspicious people have also been arrested in this case. On the contrary, it has been said that in accordance with the public sentiments and the aspirations of the relatives of the deceased, it seems necessary to conduct an impartial high-level investigation of the said cases. Minister Netam has said that in the background of various information regarding the incident that took place in village Doomarkhi police station Balrampur district Balrampur-Ramanujganj, there is a need to form an independent investigation team (SIT) for a specific investigation of the incident, which will visit the incident site within 7 days and submit a detailed report after various investigations.

With this expectation, the following members have been requested to be included in the independent investigation team. It includes (1) Assistant Inspector General of Police level officer (2) Deputy Superintendent of Police level officer (3) Best Investigator (Award Winning) level officer, an experienced investigator head constable and two constables, and forensic/scientific expert Dr. Sunanda has been requested to be included for parallel/independent scientific research considering the specificity and sensitivity of the said case. Minister Ramvichar Netam has requested Home Minister Vijay Sharma to ensure necessary action for this immediately.
