After the rumor of Naxalites, police alert, joint team of Jashpur Battalion and Jharkhand Police conducted search operation.

In order to conduct the upcoming Lok Sabha elections peacefully, an intensive search campaign was conducted under the leadership of SP Shashi Mohan Singh to curb Naxal suspects in 14 villages bordering Jashpur and Jharkhand state. The battalion of Jashpur district and Jharkhand Police jointly participated in this operation.

Actually J.J.M.P. K's area commander leader Tunesh Lakra alias Ravi and other associates have been arrested from Narayanpur police station and Kunkuri area of ​​the district. After this, to prevent Naxalites from spreading their foothold in the district again, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Jashpur Shashi Mohan Singh, the villages of the extremely sensitive and inaccessible border areas of Jashpur-Jharkhand region, Manora, Kantabel, Bichhitoli, Kharsota, Dargaon, Khokhsobenjora, Kulhadeepa, Madhwa, Search operations were conducted in many villages including Lukhi, Kerakona, Hadikona, Daunapath, Goriyatoli, Karamkona. Also, action of area domination was taken. During this, the police force inspected sensitive and extremely sensitive polling stations. At the same time, by exchanging the list of permanent warranties of both the states, it was said that necessary cooperation will be taken in taking action against as many warranties as possible.

In this regard, Superintendent of Police Jashpur Shashi Mohan Singh said that Naxalite incident has not happened in Jashpur district for the last 5 years. But due to police pressure on Naxalites in Bastar, Naxalites want to establish their foothold in new areas. In such a situation, Jashpur police is very alert to ensure that Naxalites do not establish foothold again in Jashpur district. Such searching operations and area demarcation are being carried out continuously in collaboration with Jharkhand Police.
