The Chhattisgarh government has decided to extend the admission deadline for all educational institutions to support students. As per the instructions of Higher Education Minister Tank Ram Verma, the Higher Education Department has released an order extending the last date for admissions for the academic year 2025-26 to September 5, 2025.
Initially, the deadline for admissions in higher education institutions was set for August 14, 2025. Recognizing the possibility of vacant seats, the decision was made to extend the admission period. The extension of the admission deadline, now set to September 5, will aid students. Those who did not complete their admission process within the previous timeframe will now have more time to apply. Students and guardians have applauded this decision, stating that it will secure the future of thousands of students and give them access to higher education. The Higher Education Department’s order has been sent to all universities, government colleges, and relevant officials.
