Tukeshwar Lodhi, Arang. Continuous action is being taken by the administration against illegal sand mining and transport from Mahanadi. On Sunday, the administration took major action on the complaint of illegal excavation and transport of sand in village Kagdehi. Under this action, a joint team of Revenue Department and Mineral Department under the guidance of Arang SDM Pushpendra Sharma seized 1 Chan Mountain Machine and 3 Hiwa vehicles.
According to the information, illegal withdrawal of sand was being done from Mahasamund district by making RAM to transport sand illegally in village Kagdehi. On the basis of this complaint, the administration took prompt action and action is being taken against the accused as per rules.
In this action, Naib Tehsildar Gajanand Sidar, Mineral Department Supervisor Sunildutt Sharma, Virendra Belchandan, Jitendra Kesharwani, Jitendra Verma, Lukesh Verma, and Chhabi Sahu contributed significantly.
