Raipur, March 20, 2025 / 120 children from the remote forest area of Abujhmad in Narayanpur district met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap today at the Vidhan Sabha complex. These children had come on an educational tour of the capital Raipur under the ‘Swami Vivekananda Youth Encouragement Scheme’. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai interacted with the children and assured them that the state government is fully committed to the overall development of Abujhmad.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Abujhmad remained deprived of the mainstream of development for years, but our government is ensuring that basic facilities like education, health, roads, electricity, and communication reach every village here. He told the visiting children that your bright future is our priority.
Development Works are Progressing Rapidly in Abujhmad
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that the government has given top priority to road construction, installation of mobile towers, development of schools, and expansion of health facilities in the villages of Abujhmad. He said that under the ‘Niyad Nella Nar Yojana’, infrastructure is being developed rapidly there to connect Abujhmad with the mainstream. Chief Minister Shri Sai also informed that the development of the entire Bastar region, including Abujhmad, was discussed extensively in the recent meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. The central and state governments are working together on concrete action plans to provide new opportunities for education and employment in this area.

On this occasion, while interacting with the children, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that we want every child of Abujhmad to get a good education so that they can contribute to the development of their region and the state. Encouraging the children, he said that the government is with you and is committed to providing all possible help. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma assured that the government is constantly striving to provide better schools, hostels, health centers, and new employment opportunities in Abujhmad.
