Ambikapur. Six players have been selected for Chhattisgarh Mix Carfball Team from Surguja District Carfball Association for the “19th Sub Junior” and “35th Senior” National Carfball Championship competition. This competition has been organized in Agra, Uttar Pradesh from 17 March to 20 March 2024.
In this competition, Chanchal Nishad, Om Prakash Yadav and Aman Thakur have been selected in the sub-junior Chhattisgarh carfball team from Surguja. Whereas in the senior Chhattisgarh mixed carfball team, Ms. Sakshi Tirkey. Ms. Ragni Agaria and Abhishek Sharma have been selected. National coach Rajesh Pratap Singh said that Carfball has been going on in Surguja district for a long time. Karfball game is a mixed game, in which a mixed team of boys and girls is made. A national event of Carfball game has also been organized in Surguja district. Besides, many local players have won medals in national competitions. Ms. Ragni Agaria, Ms. Sakshi and Abhishek are medalists of the former national competition.
