Tukeshwar Lodhi, Arang. The police has once again arrested Sanjay Tandon, an accused involved in cow smuggling, with 4 cattle. Along with the accused Sanjay, Balakrishna Sahu, a resident of the driver village Bancharoda, has also been arrested. This case is of Arang police station area.
According to the information, the Gausvakas led by Gausavak Adesh Soni caught the cattle transporting cattle from vehicle number CG 04 Le 3465 near the canal between village Kukra-Gand and immediately informed the Arang police. Arang police station in -charge Rajesh Singh said that accused Sanjay Tandon and Balakrishna Sahu were taking cattle from village Seoni to Akoli Khurd, but they had no valid documents regarding the transport of cattle. After this, the accused is taking action against Sanjay Tandon and Balakrishna Sahu under Section 04,06,10 and BNS 299 of the Chhattisgarh Farmers Animal Conservation Act 2011.

The accused Sanjay Tandon, a resident of village Akoli Khurd (Arang), mainly works as cow smuggling. Even before this, he has gone to jail many times. But after getting rid of jail, he does the work of smuggling cow. It has also been learned from sources that the accused Sanjay Tandon roams in the area and buys cattle and collects the cow dynasty and crosses the Mahanadi from Gaurhat through the container and sends it to a slaughter in Odisha via Mahasamund. Accused Sanjay Tandon is getting protection of a big cow smuggler, due to which he is easily left after going to jail. At the moment, there is a lot of resentment among the Gausvakas due to the incident of cow smuggling once again in this area and demanding strict action against the culprits.
