Raipur, November 6, 2025/The 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram” is a unique occasion of pride and patriotism for the entire country. During this period, collective singing of the national song and various other programs will be organized in all districts, janpads, gram panchayats, educational institutions, offices, and social organizations of the state.

Participation of Ministers and Public Representatives in Districts

Special programs will be organized in all districts of the state in the presence of ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, and public representatives. The participation of local artists, students, social organizations, and community groups will be ensured in each district so that this campaign can take the form of a public movement.

Special Activities and Creative Events in Schools

All schools, colleges, and educational institutions in the state will host special assemblies, essay competitions, debates, quizzes, poster making, and cultural competitions on the theme of “Vande Mataram”. Musical performances related to Vande Mataram will be presented by NCC, NSS, Scouts-Guides, and school bands. The state police band will also fill the atmosphere with patriotism through programs based on Vande Mataram and patriotic songs at public places.

‘Vande Mataram Audio-Video Booth’ an Innovative Initiative

“Vande Mataram Audio-Video Booths” will be established across the state through public-private partnership. Citizens will be able to sing Vande Mataram in their own voice and upload it to the portal. The original tune and lyrics of the song are also available on the portal. This event will connect the new generation of Chhattisgarh with the cultural roots of India, further deepening their sense of patriotism, duty, and national consciousness.
