    Raipur, August 11, 2025/ Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, today, an amount of ₹152 crore 84 lakh has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of more than 1 lakh 41 thousand farmers of Chhattisgarh. This amount will provide economic security to the farmers along with compensating for crop losses. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, saying that this scheme has become a protective shield for the farmers under their visionary leadership.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today, more than 30 lakh farmers across the country have benefited from a total insurance claim amount of more than ₹3,200 crore. He said that the protection of Annadatas (food providers) and their prosperity is our top priority. The door to the prosperity and economic security of farmers has been opened with the guidance and resolve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to implementing the public welfare schemes of the central government effectively with full transparency and promptness so that the farmers of the state can become more economically empowered and move towards self-reliance.
