Chhattisgarh: Naxals kill police informer; torch cars used for street building in Bijapur

BIJAPUR: Naxals allegedly killed a 45-year-old police informer and torched 3 cars engaged in street building paintings in separate incidents in Chhattisgarh’s insurgency-hit Bijapur district, police mentioned on Saturday.

The ultras killed a gopniya sainik (secret police informer) on Friday and dumped his frame on Gangloor street underneath the Bijapur police station limits, further superintendent of police (ASP) Pankaj Shukla mentioned.

The police recovered the frame of the person recognized as Ando Ram, every other authentic mentioned, including that additional probe is underway.

In a separate incident, Naxals torched 3 cars engaged in street building paintings at Cherkanti Patelpara village underneath Bijapur police station limits on Friday, the authentic mentioned.

The ultras set hearth to a truck, a JCB device and every other heavy car, that have been getting used within the building paintings underneath the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), he added.
