    The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai, unveiled development projects worth 241.50 crore rupees for the people of Bhilai. Sai pointed out that the State Capital Region would benefit Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, and Rajnandgaon, leading to expedited development and the enhancement of urban facilities. During the event, a 20 crore rupee allocation was also announced for a new office building for the Bhilai Municipal Corporation. Sai underscored the government’s support for urban development, stressing the rapid advancement of urban amenities. He mentioned the establishment of the Good Governance and Convergence Department in the state to ensure good governance and accountability, with the administration becoming digital and transparent to benefit the citizens. Sai also informed about the commencement of Atal Digital Seva Kendras in 1460 gram panchayats, with plans to include 5,000 more within the next six months. By April 24, 2026, all gram panchayats in Chhattisgarh will have Atal Digital Seva Kendras to coincide with Panchayati Raj Day.
