Chennai police responded to a bomb threat at the home of actor Vijay, also the president of Tamila Vetti Kazhagam (TVK), early this morning. The police control room received the alert around 5:20 AM, leading to the deployment of bomb disposal experts and a sniffer dog to Vijay’s residence. After an extensive search, the bomb squad concluded that the threat was unfounded, and no explosive devices were found. The incident prompted a security operation at the residence, which concluded once the premises were declared safe. A complaint has been filed at the Neelankarai police station, initiating an investigation to trace the source of the call.
