Tragedy struck Chamoli district in Uttarakhand on Wednesday night when a cloudburst triggered widespread destruction. The Nandanagar Ghat area witnessed the disappearance of seven people, while six houses were swallowed by debris. Rescue operations are in progress, focusing on locating those still missing. Authorities, including District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari, are managing the situation, with efforts concentrated in the Kuntri Langafali ward of Nandanagar.
