CBI face problems in financial institution fraud probes as a number of states withdraw ‘normal consent’

NEW DELHI: With a number of states chickening out ‘normal consent’ (GC) to the CBI to probe circumstances, the premier investigative company is going through difficulties in cracking financial institution fraud circumstances. Barring Mizoram, all are non-BJP dominated states.

Mizoram  used to be the primary state to withdraw the ‘Common Consent’ for CBI probe in 2015  adopted via West Bengal in 2018, Chhattisgarh in 2019 and the remaining in 2020.
