The Border Security Force (BSF) 112 Battalion recently held a yoga session in Baramulla, Kashmir, on the banks of the Jhelum River, in preparation for International Yoga Day. The event brought together BSF personnel and local civilians, emphasizing the values of wellness and unity.

The serene atmosphere of the Jhelum River provided an ideal backdrop for the yoga session, encouraging participants to engage in the practice. Yoga is celebrated for its ability to enhance physical and mental health, offering benefits such as increased flexibility and stress reduction.

The joint initiative served not only to promote individual health but also to strengthen the relationship between the BSF and the community of Baramulla. The event underscored the importance of taking time for self-care and mindfulness.

Nakul Vaid, the Commanding Officer of 112 BN BSF, spoke of the importance of such events in promoting peace and well-being within the local community.
