During a joint press conference in Brussels, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the issue of terrorism, framing it as a response to the threat rather than a conflict between India and Pakistan. He emphasized India’s policy of zero tolerance for terrorism and its stance against nuclear blackmail. He suggested viewing the situation through the lens of ‘India-Terroristan’. Jaishankar underscored the need for strong international cooperation to combat terrorism, calling it a ‘shared and interconnected challenge.’ Discussions with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas covered a range of global issues, including the Ukraine conflict, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and the Indo-Pacific region.
