    Mumbai buzzed with spiritual fervor as Bollywood celebrities ushered in Maha Shivratri, the sacred night dedicated to Lord Shiva. From grand screens to personal lives, the Hindi film industry has long shared a profound connection with Bholenath, the destroyer and transformer.

    Akshay Kumar, who portrayed Lord Shiva in the hit film ‘OMG 2’, led the celebrations by sharing a heartfelt video on X. ‘May Lord Shiva’s blessings be upon us all. Om Namah Shivaya. Happy Maha Shivratri. Jai Mahakal,’ he captioned, invoking divine grace for his fans.

    Jackie Shroff amplified the chants with a photo of himself reciting Mahadev mantras, extending warm wishes. Sonu Sood, known for his philanthropy, revisited his pilgrimage to Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar temple, posting cherished images with his wife immersed in devotion.

    Kiran Kher shared an image of Mahadev, proclaiming ‘Har Har Mahadev!’ and wishing the nation on this auspicious day. Isha Gupta posted a Trishul adorned with sindoor, symbolizing fierce devotion. Bhojpuri star Amrapali Dubey celebrated with a beautiful depiction of Shiva and Parvati’s divine union, captioning it ‘Om Namah Parvati Pataye Har Har Mahadev.’

    Rani Chatterjee shared a soulful track from her film, ‘Jase Dewala Shiv Ji Gaura Ke Pyar Ho’, seeking blessings for longevity in love. TV icons Deepika Chikhlia, famed as Sita, and Alpana Buch, the eternal Tulsi, also joined in with prayers for national peace and prosperity.

    This Maha Shivratri showcased Bollywood’s unwavering faith, blending cinematic legacy with genuine piety, as stars inspired millions to embrace Shiva’s eternal wisdom.
