In a sharp critique from Ahmedabad, BJP spokesperson Rohan Gupta has taken aim at the Telangana government’s decision to allow Muslim employees to leave offices early at 4 PM during Ramadan. Labeling it as blatant ‘appeasement politics,’ Gupta asserted that such measures are a hallmark wherever Congress holds power.

Gupta didn’t mince words, declaring that politics in the name of religion flies in the face of the Constitution. He accused the Congress of long-standing minority appeasement as its core strategy, questioning why special provisions are made despite no constitutional backing for religion-based reservations.

‘Muslim communities have woken up to the fact that empty promises don’t drive development,’ Gupta stated emphatically. He warned that such tactics undermine national interests and constitutional principles.

Expanding his attack, Gupta targeted the opposition INDIA bloc, referencing Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Saamana editorial questioning Congress leadership. He mocked their opportunistic alliances as ‘thugbandhan,’ unfit for governance, insisting voters reject them in favor of development-focused politics.

Defending the Modi government’s initiatives, Gupta highlighted their alignment with constitutional spirit and public welfare. He pointed to unwavering public trust as evidence of success.

Gupta also celebrated the India AI Summit in Delhi, a global showcase with over 300 exhibitors from 30+ countries, spanning 70,000 sqm. Featuring tech experts, CEOs, and innovations in agriculture, pharma, and more, it positions India as an AI leader.

Urging the opposition to rise above petty politics, Gupta called for prioritizing national progress and technological advancement over unnecessary controversies that tarnish India’s image.
