New Delhi is buzzing with anticipation as the Union Budget approaches on February 1. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the ruling party, has rolled out an ambitious nationwide campaign to spotlight the budget’s key announcements and policies directly to the public. This strategic push aims to bridge the gap between government initiatives and everyday citizens.
From February 1 to 15, BJP will launch a series of events across India under the banner of ‘Budget Promotion Campaign 2026.’ Central ministers, chief ministers, and senior party leaders will hold press conferences at approximately 150 locations nationwide. These events will dissect the budget’s highlights, emphasizing steps to bolster the economy amid global uncertainties.
The campaign blends traditional outreach with digital innovation. Social media platforms will feature engaging reels and influencer collaborations to simplify complex fiscal measures, particularly targeting the youth. This multi-pronged approach ensures the budget’s narrative reaches urban millennials and rural heartlands alike.
Leading the effort is BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, supported by a formidable team including Saroj Pandey, Srikant Sharma, Narendra Raina, GVL Narasimha Rao, Gopal Krishna Agarwal, Anil Antony, Sanjay Tandon, and Guru Prakash Paswan. Their mission: to showcase how domestic reforms and government investments are driving India’s economic resilience.
As Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman prepares for her ninth consecutive budget presentation, the recent Economic Survey 2025-26 projects a robust GDP growth of 7.0 percent. Despite international headwinds, the survey underscores the strengthening internal fundamentals fueled by policy measures and public spending. This budget promotion drive sets the stage for a narrative of progress and stability, positioning the government’s vision at the forefront of national discourse.
