PANAJI: Bharatiya Janata Birthday party (BJP) MLA Wilfred D’Sa resigned as a member of the Goa Legislative Meeting in addition to from the celebration on Wednesday, forward of the saffron celebration saying its first checklist of applicants for the following month’s state elections.
D’Sa claimed that he would combat the February 14 Meeting polls an an impartial.
Once you have elected at the Congress price ticket from Nuvem Meeting constituency in 2017, D’Sa had joined the BJP in July 2019 along side 9 different celebration MLAs.
Speaking to journalists, he stated, “I’ve resigned from the state Meeting in addition to from the celebration to contest the approaching election as an impartial candidate.”
“I’ve already advised the BJP about my resolution to surrender the celebration forward of the polls. I had advised the celebration that I’d no longer be contesting the 2022 polls on BJP price ticket,” stated D’Sa.
He stated that he had consulted his supporters, who had steered him to contest as an impartial candidate.
