New Delhi, February 20 – Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president Nitin Naven is set to embark on a significant three-day tour of Gujarat starting Friday. This visit marks his first trip to the state since assuming the top party post, focusing on organizational strengthening and public engagement.
Gujarat BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma announced the detailed itinerary during a press conference. Naven will arrive at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 12:30 PM on Friday, greeted by a warm reception from party leaders and workers.
His packed schedule kicks off with a meeting at GSC Bank in Naranpura, Ahmedabad, where he will interact with Members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly. In the evening, he heads to Infocity in Gandhinagar for a key ‘Budget Meeting’ with industrialists, chartered accountants, entrepreneurs, doctors, and representatives from various organizations.
Saturday begins early with a 6:00 AM visit to the Sabarmati Riverfront, where Naven is expected to participate in awareness activities and connect with local residents. At 8:45 AM, he will offer prayers at the historic Bhadra Kali Mata Temple in Ahmedabad.
Following this, he will address state office-bearers, organizational leaders, and party workers at the BJP’s state headquarters in Gandhinagar. A dedicated session with the party’s social media team is also on the agenda. In the afternoon, Naven will deliver a speech at the Young Voice Summit in GIFT City and engage with young entrepreneurs and startup founders.
The evening features a major address to booth-level workers at the GMDA Hall in Ahmedabad. On Sunday, February 22, he will join a public listening session for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program at 10:45 AM in Khadiya, Ahmedabad, before departing for Delhi later that afternoon.
Vishwakarma emphasized that BJP remains a worker-driven party committed to its ideology. He highlighted how leaders like PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah rose through the ranks as testament to the organization’s strength. At 45, Naven is the youngest national president in the party’s history, and this tour aims to bolster organizational coordination and public participation in Gujarat.
