A woman from Bihar ended her life by hanging herself, with a chilling incident unfolding as her husband allegedly encouraged her and filmed the tragic event. The daughter was present, and the husband’s actions appeared to incite the woman as she took her own life. The woman was seen struggling before she succumbed to the hanging.

The woman was from Kahalgaon and living in Delhi with her husband and daughter. The reason for this extreme step was the financial burden. The woman was under pressure due to a four lakh rupee loan taken from a finance company. The couple frequently argued over the loan, leading to her distress.

A live video of the incident shows the husband encouraging the woman to commit suicide. The daughter can be heard crying in the video. The 1 minute and 12-second video shows the woman using a box and bucket to create a noose from cloth, which she then attached to a ceiling fan hook before hanging herself. During this time, the husband silenced his crying daughter. The incident occurred in the Ghaziabad police station area of Delhi.

The deceased was identified as Chandni Devi (31) from Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur. She had been married to Vidyanand Rai from Muzaffarpur district for 12 years. They had recently taken a loan of around four lakh rupees from a microfinance institution. The husband was unable to pay off the loan, and the finance company was putting pressure on them. Chandni Devi would confront her husband about the loan, which led to conflict and ultimately the woman’s suicide.

Rakesh Mandal, the brother of the deceased, stated that they received information from the brother-in-law about the death. He also said that they were threatened and told not to go to Delhi. The woman leaves behind three children, the youngest being five years old. The family is in deep mourning. The woman’s body is at the mortuary, and the police have arrested the husband. The family, out of fear, has not yet filed a written complaint or visited the Ghaziabad police station.
