An accident occurred during the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ (Voter Rights March) organized by the Congress in Nawada, Bihar, involving a vehicle carrying Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. A police officer, who was on security duty for the march, was struck by the vehicle. Prompt action from other security personnel led to the rescue of the officer. Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP, subsequently inquired about the officer’s condition.
Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of being in partnership with the BJP, claiming they were conspiring to steal votes. He assured that the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ would prevent any vote theft in Bihar. These remarks were made during a speech at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada.
Speaking to the crowd, the Congress MP emphasized the importance of the right to vote, which is enshrined in the constitution. He alleged that Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the Election Commissioner were trying to infringe upon this right. Gandhi, along with Tejashwi and other leaders of the ‘Mahagathbandhan’, vowed to protect every vote in Bihar from being stolen.
Rahul Gandhi also raised concerns about a new strategy of vote theft in Bihar, referred to as SIR. He warned the public about the potential loss of their voter cards, ration cards, and eventually their land to Adani and Ambani. He maintained that the country belongs to the farmers, laborers, and small business owners, not to Adani and Ambani.
