Suicide in Bihar: Man Ends Life After Girlfriend’s Demand

A heartbreaking case of unrequited love has emerged from Bhagalpur, Bihar. A young man, Deepak, died by suicide after a reported incident where his girlfriend allegedly requested him to demonstrate his love by taking his life. Deepak, who was employed at a private clinic, had met the girl about a month before and subsequently developed a romantic relationship. According to sources, the girl stopped communicating with him, causing him significant distress. After his death, messages were discovered in which Deepak implored her to talk to him. The girl’s alleged response was, “Prove you love me, die for me.” Deepak then ingested a poisonous substance. His father stated he had no prior knowledge of his son’s struggles and the family is yet to file a case.
