Addressing a rally in Araria, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a strong attack against the opposition parties, accusing ‘Lalu & Company’ of corruption in Bihar and the Congress of large-scale scams across the country. Shah highlighted the current government’s alleged clean record, saying no corruption charges had been made in the last 11 years. He also criticized Rahul Gandhi, claiming he wanted to give voting rights to infiltrators. Shah contrasted the BJP’s goal of removing infiltrators from Bihar with the opposition’s aim of winning the election to install Lalu’s son as Chief Minister. He encouraged voters to elect the NDA with a two-thirds majority to ensure the removal of infiltrators from the state. This event was part of Shah’s second visit to Bihar within a span of ten days, underlining the BJP’s strategic focus on the region.
