Rahul Gandhi Seeks to Unite Dalits and EBCs; Caste Census and Reservation Limits on the Agenda

Rahul Gandhi is strategically targeting the Dalit and Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs), aiming to strengthen the Mahagathbandhan’s traditional voter base. As part of this effort, Rahul Gandhi appointed Dalit leader Rajesh Ram as the president and has repeatedly pledged to conduct a caste census and break the limits of reservation during constitutional conferences for Dalits and the backward classes. To bolster the claims regarding caste census and reservation limits, the Congress party introduced Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to the Bihar yatra as a pilot project. Furthermore, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Sachin Pilot, prominent OBC figures, joined Rahul Gandhi on the Bihar tour.
