The political landscape in Bihar is heating up as the state gears up for assembly elections, with intense verbal exchanges between political leaders. Recent events include a viral video of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav dancing with his nephew and supporters on Patna’s JP Ganga Path. The video sparked mixed reactions, with many expressing approval while others offered political satire. Central Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi commented, stating that if it were the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav, the youths in the video would have been forced to perform at the Chief Minister’s residence under duress, highlighting what he perceived as the true nature of good governance.

After the Voter Adhikar Yatra concluded on September 1st, Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, accompanied by a group of young people, danced on the road at midnight. Central Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, in response to the video, suggested that the Leader of the Opposition must have gained an understanding of good governance while watching the group dancing at midnight on the well-lit roads of Bihar. Manjhi further indicated that Tejashwi must have seen the true reflection of good governance in Bihar during that midnight encounter.

Referencing the era of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Jitan Ram Manjhi noted that in the present context of good governance in Bihar, if the government was still operating under the conditions of ‘jungle raj,’ the youths, including Tejashwi Yadav, would have likely been abducted by goons and coerced into dancing at gunpoint at the Chief Minister’s residence.

Highlighting the positive aspects of the Nitish Kumar-led government’s good governance, Central Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi pointed out that Tejashwi Yadav has witnessed the good governance of the NDA government firsthand. Yet, he continues to make baseless accusations against the Bihar government for political reasons. The public of Bihar, however, is fully aware and comprehends the impact of the NDA’s good governance.

Offering counsel to Tejashwi Yadav, Manjhi urged him to comprehend the critical role that the NDA plays in the progress of Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav, who joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra, which culminated in Patna on September 1st after 16 days, was seen reveling in a celebratory mood. He was recorded dancing on Patna’s JP Ganga Path with his nephew and supporters. In the video, he was seen attempting to follow dance steps alongside his young fans.
