A devastating incident in Patna has resulted in the deaths of three individuals from the same family. The deceased include a father and his two sons. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an immediate police investigation.

The family, residents of Karhara village in the Paliganj sub-division, reportedly fell ill after consuming golgappe. Initial attempts at local treatment were unsuccessful, and one of the sons died a short time later.

It is understood that the family had been at a fair in Chandaus, Paliganj, where they ate golgappe. They also consumed food after returning home. Later, all three suffered from severe abdominal pain and their health deteriorated rapidly. One of them died at their residence.

Neeraj and Nirbhay Kumar were taken to the Paliganj sub-divisional hospital, and were later transferred to PMCH for further medical attention. Sadly, both died this morning at PMCH.

The deceased have been identified as Neeraj Saw, along with his sons Nirmal Kumar, 8, and Nirbhay Kumar, 4. The sudden deaths have left the village in mourning. The precise cause of death is still under investigation. Local police and the FSL team are present at the scene.

Police officials have indicated that food poisoning is suspected, but the definitive cause will be determined following the post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing.
