Following the approval, the Urban Development Department scheduled the inauguration of the Patna Metro for October 6. Trial runs have also been completed. In the initial phase, the Patna Metro will operate at a speed of approximately 40 km per hour. Currently, the train will consist of three bogies with a capacity of 1000 passengers. There will be seating for 138 passengers in the three bogies, while 900 passengers can travel standing.
