A tragic incident occurred in Patna’s Shastri Nagar when a man named Vijendra Kumar allegedly killed his wife, Preeti Kumari. The attack happened on Tuesday night in Machhli Gali following a heated domestic dispute. Reports state that Vijendra struck Preeti multiple times on the head with a heavy grinding stone, locally known as a silbatta. She was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her severe injuries during treatment. The police have launched an investigation into the brutal murder.
