The political atmosphere in Bihar is intensifying as the election season heats up. At a rally in Khagaria, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary openly criticized Lalu Yadav and the Congress party. Kumar highlighted that when Lalu Yadav was out of power, his wife Rabri Devi was appointed CM. He stated that their government did little for the state, specifically for women, during their 15-year tenure. Kumar urged people to remember the situation before 2005 and how his government has improved the state. He mentioned the initiatives taken for women empowerment, including the 50% reservation in Panchayati Raj and the support for self-help groups. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also targeted Congress and Rahul Gandhi, criticizing their approach to democracy and reservation. He asserted that the current government has curbed migration from the state.
