Madhepura, Bihar, is the scene of a brutal murder. A man killed his friend by slitting his throat. The victim, Rajiv Kumar, 17, son of Anil Yadav, was murdered by his friend, Vijay Kumar, on Thursday.
According to the victim’s family, Vijay invited Rajiv to his home on Thursday night under the pretense of fixing a motor. Vijay then killed Rajiv inside his home. Rajiv’s ear and part of his neck were cut. The distance between the two homes is approximately one kilometer. Rajiv worked as a laborer.
It is believed that the deceased had an affair with Vijay’s wife. Vijay invited Rajiv to his home on the pretext of motor repair. Following a drinking session, Rajiv stayed over. Later that night, Vijay saw his wife with Rajiv.
Subsequently, Vijay attacked Rajiv with a sharp weapon, cutting off his ear and then his neck, leading to his death. Vijay left the body in the courtyard and fled. Police arrived and began investigating, arresting Vijay within hours.
ASP Pravendra Bharti said the body has been sent for a post-mortem. Three people are being questioned, and the details will be revealed soon.
