    A man in Begusarai, Bihar, was subjected to a violent attack, tied to a pillar, and beaten. Local residents reported the incident to the Lakho police station. The police responded to the scene, rescuing the injured man. The family of the victim stated that the victim, Rajiv Kumar, had gone to collect a debt when he was assaulted. Police initially took the injured man to the police station instead of a hospital, drawing criticism from his family. Eventually, he was taken to the Sadar Hospital in Begusarai for treatment. Two individuals are currently in police custody and are being questioned about the assault.
