    The location of the incident is Chhatwara village, under the jurisdiction of the Mahua police station. During the night of Dussehra, villagers caught two couples and arranged their marriages, allegedly involving physical assault. The entire event was captured in a video that has since gone viral. The couples were reportedly meeting secretly on the night of Dussehra when the villagers intervened and forced them into marriage.
