Samrat Choudhary, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision to name a tower in the new MP residential complex in Delhi after the Kosi River. Choudhary sees this as a testament to PM Modi’s strong ties and affection for Bihar, expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of the state’s residents via a post on X. The newly inaugurated residential complex, featuring 184 MP residences, includes four towers named after significant rivers: Krishna, Godavari, Kosi, and Hugli. PM Modi emphasized that these river names symbolize the flow of life and that the residents of the towers would experience similar positive impacts. Choudhary further noted the ongoing efforts of the NDA government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, to improve Bihar, particularly highlighting the Kosi River’s transformation from a symbol of disaster to a source of water and progress.
