The life of Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh has taken a new turn with his wife, Jyoti Singh, expressing her distress publicly. Jyoti Singh has written an emotional post on Facebook, opening up about her struggles and seeking reconciliation.
In her Facebook post, Jyoti Singh wrote, ‘Dear husband Pawan Singh, I’ve been trying to discuss family and political issues with you for several months, but you and your associates haven’t responded to my calls or messages. I went to Lucknow and Dehri to meet you, but you refused. I was told you were busy with meetings in Lucknow. My father also tried to meet you, but nothing positive came of it.’
The post suggests a breakdown in communication. Jyoti Singh further wrote, ‘What sin have I committed that I am being punished so severely? They are damaging my parents’ reputation.’
Jyoti Singh went on to say, ‘If I was not worthy, you should have maintained distance as before.’ She added, ‘After giving me false promises, you involved me in your Lok Sabha campaign and now I feel like I have nothing left but to end my life. But I can’t because the blame would fall on me and my family.’
Jyoti Singh’s post included a reminder of marital obligations. She explained that she has always supported Pawan Singh and fulfilled her duties. She urged him to reciprocate. She also mentioned that he has forgiven many opponents for their mistakes, but he doesn’t seem to care about her feelings. ‘You embrace those who criticize you, but when I try to share my struggles, who will listen? My own family doesn’t understand me.’
Jyoti Singh ended her letter with a final plea to Pawan Singh, urging him to understand her pain. She has struggled for seven years, and now she feels lost. She requested that Pawan Singh respond to her calls and messages.
Jyoti Singh’s political ambitions have also been revealed recently. It was reported that she might contest the upcoming assembly elections. Jyoti Singh herself has expressed interest in running for the Dehri assembly seat.
