Jan Suraaj’s Prashant Kishor Reveals Financial Details: ₹241 Crore Earned

In the midst of the heightened political activity in Bihar, Prashant Kishor, the leader of the Jan Suraaj campaign, has addressed concerns regarding his funding. Kishor, who launched the Jan Suraaj party on October 2nd of the preceding year, has been the subject of accusations, including claims of ties to the BJP. Kishor has now provided transparency regarding his financial backing. He stated that the funds come from various sources, including the provision of assistance to others and fees for providing political advice. Over the last three years, he has earned ₹241 crore in fees. He also mentioned paying ₹30.95 crore in GST and ₹20 crore in income tax. Moreover, Kishor has contributed ₹98 crore to the party’s funds. Jan Suraaj is planning to participate in all 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar, with Kishor conducting rallies where he criticizes both the opposition and the ruling parties. While some perceive his actions as an extension of the BJP’s agenda, Kishor asserts that Jan Suraaj provides a new alternative for the people of Bihar.
