Bihar is gearing up to host the Hero Asia Cup 2025, a first for the state. The Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, unveiled the official mascot ‘Chand’ and the tournament trophy at a ceremony held at 1 Anne Marg. The hockey tournament is scheduled to be held at the Rajgir Sports Complex International Hockey Stadium from August 29 to September 7, 2025. A Trophy of Honour Yatra was also launched by the Chief Minister.
