Father Allegedly Rapes Daughter, Keeps Her Captive: Police Investigate in Sheohar, Bihar

A harrowing incident has come to light in the Piprahi police station area of Sheohar, Bihar, involving a father accused of raping his 17-year-old daughter. The accused had two wives and the alleged rape victim is the daughter of his first wife. The police have initiated an investigation after receiving a complaint from the victim. The girl reported being held captive and raped for six days. She managed to contact Dial 112, leading to police intervention and her transfer to the women’s police station. The police have filed a case against the father, based on the girl’s statement and medical examination. The accused is currently absconding, and the police are conducting raids to arrest him.
